Vegas, Baby.

Here’s the news from Nevada:

MLB winter meetings in Vegas showcasing star Bryce Harper (USA Today)
Bryce Harper is the greatest show in Vegas right now, ready to permanently alter a franchise in his own hometown with Scott Boras as the most intense hype man of all time (he's getting, uh, LeBron comparisons). Apparently, Harper has also been very inquisitive in meetings with teams, asking them about their commitment to winning and their prospects, while Kayla Harper asks about the stadium and family amenities, before Boras gets to his pitch (if you have to ask, you can't afford it).

Rosenthal: ‘Agent Wars’ between Scott Boras and Dan Lozano are a huge part of the Harper, Machado pursuits (The Athletic)
Baseball's two super-agents — Boras and Lozano — are competing, using the two super-players — Harper and Machado — as the grounds to sign the most lucrative contract in baseball history. Unsurprisingly, every other agent is rooting for both to fail.

Nationals on periphery in Las Vegas (NBC Sports Washington)
Marlins Man is in Vegas, and he's trying to be the star of the show, as are the Phillies and Yankees— but the Nationals are here for smaller pieces, complementary additions to Corbin and Gomes for the bullpen, bench, and perhaps the middle infield.

Phillies' push for Bryce Harper and Manny Machado to hit high gear at Winter Meetings
"It is hard to determine which superstar the Phillies prefer, but they would certainly be more than content if the winter ended with either Harper or Machado on their roster. Both will receive contracts worth more than $300 million, and it is easy to argue a preference for either one."

Miami's Winter Meetings features J.T. Realmuto (MLB.com)
"No fewer than 14 clubs have expressed interest in Realmuto, including National League East rivals in the Mets, Braves and Phillies. The Astros, Dodgers and Rockies also are reportedly in the mix."
